Reference Architecture for Multi-Surface Environments
This is an ongoing project.
Description
Surface computing enables a new style of interaction that is poorly described by current architectural styles for interactive systems. The goal of this project is to determine a reference architecture for multiple surface environments.
In 2013, three special project proposals were approved to develop and refine the archtitecture and provide a resuable software toolkit. These projects focus on creating a client library in Javascript to enable web applications to integrate easily into a multi-surface envirnment, developing a gesture library for multi-surface environments, and libraries for creating multi-display web applications.
